KATHMANDU: An elderly woman was crushed to death by a wild elephant at Chitwan district on Saturday. The victim has been identified as 75-year-old Jalpi Pabe of Harinagar, Madi in the district. Pabe died after the wild elephant entered the village from a nearby jungle and pulled down her mud house. Police said locals and security personnel later chased away the tusker.
