Nepali Congress, Maoists discuss no-trust vote strategies

KATHMANDU: Leaders of Nepali Congress and CPN Maoist Centre discussed strategies to ensure endorsement of a no-confidence motion that they registered at the Parliament against the incumbent government. The leaders held a meeting at the NC Parliamentary Office, Singha Durbar, a day before the Parliament is scheduled to begin discussions on the motion. President and leader of the major opposition Sher Bahadur Deuba, senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel and Bimalendra Nidhi from the NC and CPN MC Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara had attended the meeting. Both the parties had jointly registered the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Legislature-Parliament on July 13. Deliberation on the no-confidence motion is beginning in the Parliament meeting tomorrow. READ ALSO:
