KATHMANDU: A man died after being hit by a Tata Sumo at Khimti-5 in Pakhabari of Ramechhap district on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Tirtha Bahadur Baruwal (50). Police said that the vehicle (Na 9 Ja 5083) heading towards Khimti from Kathmandu hit Baruwal while he was walking on the road at around 7 pm yesterday. Critically injured Baruwal breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Manthali Hospital at around 6 am today. Police said that they have impounded the vehicle and arrested its driver for investigation.
