KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 300,000 was destroyed in a fire in Kageshwori Manahara Municipality of Kathmandu district on Saturday. A two-room hut made for religious purposes near Birendra Chok in Kageshwori Manahara-11 had caught the fire, reportedly due to an electronic short circuit. Police assisted by locals had doused the fire. Further investigation is underway.
