POKHARA: Ex-players Forum Nepal is organising the 11th Safal Pokhara International Marathon in Pokhara on Saturday. The event features 42.195km marathon, 5km race for school children, 5km Run For Fun and 400m wheelchair race, informed the organisers in a release. The race will start from the Pokhara Stadium and will go through various places of the city before culminating at the stadium. The theme of the marathon is “Run For Health, Run For Pokhara”. The top four athletes in marathon will get Rs 60,000, Rs 40,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 4,000 respectively, while winners in other categories will also receive cash awards. Sujal Dairy Pvt Ltd of Laxmi Group is the main sponsor of the event.
