KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court on Thursday ordered the government to give within 10 days the details of its work plan to hold provincial and parliamentary elections before January 22. A division bench of justices Hari Krishna Karki and Anil Kumar Sinha passed the order on a petition filed by Advocate Chandra Kanta Gyawali and others. The petitioners had demanded that the dates for parliamentary and provincial elections be declared and a constituency delimitation commission be formed to determine first-past-the-post election constituencies for the House of Representatives and provincial assemblies.
