Dhankuta, March 12:

One person was killed and 24 were hurt in two accidents in Baglung and Dhankuta districts today. Khum Kumari Sharma, a local woman, died on the spot when a bus with registration number Ga 1 Kha 715 ran over her today at Khariya near Kushum bazaar in Baglung district. The bus was headed for Baglung from Pokhara. Eighteen bus passengers were hurt in the incident. The bus driver has been arrested, said the District Police Office, Baglung. Meanwhile, six persons were hurt when an ambulance met with an accident at Gothgaun of the Dhankuta municipality.
