Voter turnout spikes 74 per cent in Lamjung

LAMJUNG: The Lamjung District Election Commission said that around 74 per cent voters have cast ballot in the elections in eight local levels in Lamjung till 3:30 pm today. According to Arjun Adhikari, returning officer, 100-year-old Ram Kumari Kunwar also exercised her voting right at the Aadarsha Bal Higher Secondary School-based polling booth in Sundarbazaar-6 of the district. There are 105,992 voters in the district. The are four municipalities and four rural municipalities in Lamjung, which lies in Province No. 4.
