LAMJUNG: CPN-UML candidate Guman Singh Aryal has been elected as the mayor of Beshishaar Municipality in Lamjung district. Aryal collected 7, 624 votes to his Nepal Congress rival  Bhes Bahadur Paudel's 7, 327 votes. Aryal edged Paudel by 279 votes margin. Meanwhile, UML's Laxmi Adhikari was elected as the deputy mayor of the same municipality. Adhikari had received 7, 575 votes.
