Rautahat, September 25 Inu Raya Yadav from Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal has won the mayoral post and Rangila Devi Jaisawal from the Nepali congress has secured deputy mayoral post in Garuda Municipality, Rautahat. Yadav won the mayoral post with 3,876 votes while his closet rival from the Nepali Congress Sunil Yadav received 3,803 votes. The FSF-N has won the third round of civic polls in four local levels of the district. The election result of 18 local levels has been made public in Rautahat. As per the election result, the NC has won in Paroha, Rajpur, Phatuha, Bijayapur, Chandrapur, Brindaban, Gadimai, Raj Devi municipalities and Durga Bhagawati Rural Municipality. Similarly, Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal has won in Baudhimai, Debahi Gonahi, Garuda and Madhav Narayan municipalities while the CPN-Maoist Centre has won in Maulapur, Katahariya and Yumana Mai municipalities. Similarly, Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal has won Gaur and Gajura municipalities, while Nepal Democratic Party has won the election in Ishanath Municipality. The newly elected members of 16 local levels have taken oath of office.
