KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba received the Dashain tika and jamara from his family priest,Binod Sapkota, at the auspicious time of 11:55 am today at the Prime Minister's official residence, Baluwatar on the occasion of the Bijaya Dashami festival.

The Prime Minister will receive the Dashain tika from President Bidya Devi Bhandari today itself.

The Prime Minister will be offering the tika to the party leaders, cadres and the general public only after receiving tika from the Head-of-State at 2:00 pm today, his private secretariat said.

PM Deuba will be offering tika to the general public after 4:00 today.
