Sunsari, October 11 Agitating doctors at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan have resumed their services from yesterday after the administration assured them of taking stern action against the person ho had manhandled a doctor three days ago. The doctors were staging protest since Sunday after the kin of Dambar Bahadur Baraili of Barahachhetra manhandled Dr Pradip Mandal accusing him of being negligent in Dambar Bahadur’’s treatment. The doctors have demanded action against the guilty. The agitating doctors agreed to return to their duties after the hospital administration pledged to file a public offence case against the guilty and draft a security management strategy, as per Jiba Nath Dhamala, chair of Junior Resident Doctors’’ Welfare Society. “We will resort to agitation if the guilty is not arrested within 24 hours,” said Dhamala.
