Dhankuta, December 19 The seventh food festival of Bhedetar has been scheduled to mark the English New Year at the tourist site of Bhedetar in Dhankuta district. It was informed that necessary preparations were being made for food festival at a press meet in Bhedetar. According to Hotel Association Bhedetar Chair Jitendra Rumdali, the festival will be held on December 31, and January 1 and 2. Hotels will offer 10 per cent discount for visitors during the festival time. Paragliding from Bhedetar to Dharan and mountain bike riding will be the major attractions of the food festival this time. Similarly, other activities, including rafting in Tamor River and a package tour around Bhedetar are also being offered, said a former chair of Hotel Association Bhedetar. During the festival, various food items, organic vegetables, fruits and agricultural produce will be put on display.
