A Cabinet meeting held this morning decided to promote nine Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) to the post of Deputy Inspector Generals of Police (DIGs), according to a source. According to the source, those promoted police officials are the Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs), Rabindra Pratap Shah, Ramesh Chand, Krishna Shrestha, Deepak Shrestha, KB Rana, Devilal Tamang, Madan Khadka, Naresh Gurung and Prakash Ranjit.
