KATHMANDU:
With the aim to share the opinion of people from across the country on burning national issues, the Antenna Foundation Nepal (AFN) has launched a radio programme “Nepal Chautari” from January 1, 2007. The programme is being aired by a number of radio stations throughout the country.
The foundation has provided 11-digit number (1660 01 34567) for the callers but the number is toll-free for the callers from outside the Valley. At a press conference organised by the AFN on Friday, Madhu Acharya, Director of the AFN, said that they are providing a unique radio platform for people to air their views on any contemporary national issues. This radio phone-in programme is funded by the USAID Nepal.
