Twelve dances and two songs summed up the Talent Round of the Miss Tourism

Queen International Nepal 2007 held at the Nepal Tourism Board on June 11. Although the event started late than the scheduled time the whole event was short.

As most of the participants opted for dance the audience and the judges were entertained with a variety of dances. From traditional Manjushree dance to modern acrobatic dance, from maitighar to hips don’t lie the performance of the contestants had something for everyone.

Two of the participants Ayesha Giri and Tabita Lama provided a change to the event with their songs. Giri sang what’s going on and Lama sang Nisthuri mayalu. While most

of the dances were film songs Sashila Joshi and Suvechhya Dewan presented Manjushree dance and Maruni dance respectively. Unlike the others Chet Kumari Gurung included props in her gurung dance.

Laxmi Gurung and Simla Rayamajhi provided the western touch with their performances. Gurung presented a dance on instrumental piece from Enigma and Rayamajhi boogied to Hips Don’t lie the hit number of Shakira.

The winner of the talent round will be announced on the main event of Miss Tourism Queen International Nepal 2007 on June 16.
