KATHMANDU:
After being roped in by Coca-Cola to endorse their product, our pop icon Nima Rumba is all set to do a TV commercial for the brand with none other than Bollywood heavyweight Aamir Khan.
Though the news has been kept hush-hush, Rumba confirmed the reports about the ad but refused to divulge any details about the commercial. However, sources say that the commercial will see the two as modern day heroes, and that a part of the commercial will be shot in our own Bhaktapur.
Bhaktapur was also the site that was chosen for Hollywood film Little Buddha starring Keanu Reeves.
Khan, who will be in the Capital for the shoot, will also visit a number of schools around the Valley in connection with his recent award-winning film Taare Zameen Par, reports lirpa1.com. The film is about a dyslexic child Ishan and the problems that the child faces in school and his daily life due to this problem of his.
According to the website, Khan will hold talks regarding dyslexia in a select number of schools while a special screening of the film will be held at the Nepal Tourism Board hall.
Khan’s earlier hits are Rang de Basanti, Dil Chahata Hai, Sarfarosh among others. — HNS
