The Asian Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (AIDIA) has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the one of the oldest think-tanks in Europe, the European Policy Centre (EPC).
This landmark agreement solidifies AIDIA's membership within the esteemed ranks of the EPC, fostering a new era of collaboration and knowledge-sharing between Nepal and Europe in the domain of transnational think-tank work, as per a media release issued here today.
EPC is an independent, non-profit think-tank dedicated to fostering European integration through analysis and debate, supporting and challenging European decision-makers at all levels to make informed decisions based on evidence and analysis, and providing a multi-stakeholder platform for engaging partners, stakeholders and citizens in EU policy-making and in the debate about the future of Europe.
AIDIA is an independent, non-partisan institution that conducts research and analysis domestic and international affairs, diplomacy, entrepreneurship, and offers a platform for dialogue and conflict resolution.
The collaboration between AID- IA and EPC represents a significant step forward in fostering an environment of cooperation and knowledge-sharing among thinktanks in Europe and Nepal.
This strategic partnership will enable AIDIA to actively engage with leading experts, policymakers, and stakeholders, in Europe and the world.
With this alliance, AIDIA aims to expand its reach, broaden its research horizons, and foster increase collaboration among thinktanks in Nepal and Europe, the release adds.
The MoU was signed by Sunil KC, founder of AIDIA, and Fabian Zuleeg, the chief executive of EPC.
