KATHMANDU: Rukmani Devi, 92, mother of Hiralal Kedia, chairman of Kedia organization, passed away on Thursday in Birgunj. Her final rites were conducted the next day on the bank of Bagmati River. Late Rukmani Devi is survived by seven sons and a daughter.

PFL reaches Siraha

KATHMANDU: Prabhu Finance Ltd (PFL) opened its 20th branch in Mirchaiya of Siraha district. Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) district chapter president Ganesh Prasad Shah inaugurated the branch amid a function on Sunday. The finance company aims to provide modern financial services in the district.

PLI’s SMS plan

KATHMANDU: Prime Life Insurance (PLI) has launched SMS service to make insurance paperwork easy for policy-holders from Sunday. With this service, policy-holders receive a notification for payment of premium renewal a week in advance, which will enable them to keep the policy enforced and therefore continue to receive life insurance benefits.

IPE’s new course

KATHMANDU: Institute of Professional Excellence Pvt Ltd (IPE), Thapathali, has launched professional training course in accountancy from Sunday. IPE is adding some more courses on banking, insurance, company secretary, development sector accounting and marketing in the near future. IPE’s course in accountancy is three months long with a daily session of two hours and one-hour lecture followed by one-hour practical session. The timings of the classes are very convenient. Students can join any of the morning, afternoon or evening classes.
