New PCBL branch

KATHMANDU: Prime Commercial Bank Ltd (PCBL) inaugurated its new branch at Lagankhel on Sunday. According to a press statement issued, the branch will also provide the facility of the new scheme “Prime Gold Certificate” along with other banking facilities. NTB seeks boost

KATHMANDU: A meeting held between different political parties on Saturday has hailed the proposal to declare Chitwan a chakkajam free district. Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) executive director Prachandaman Shrestha said, “The proposal is overwhelming. If only tourism sector were declared a peace zone, it would scale new heights.” Citing the examples of Chitwan and Parbat districts, NTB urged the people in all the other districts to declare their respective districts chakkajam free zones and help in the development of all aspects of tourism. — HNS

RMBFL declaration

KATHMANDU: Royal Merchant Banking and Finance Ltd will distribute 10 per cent bonus shares, two per cent cash dividends and rights shares in the ratio of 1:1. According to a press statement issued on Sunday by the bank, it will distribute bonus shares at the rate of 10 per cent of the total paid up capital to all of its shareholders, an amount that is equal to Rs 12.1 million, and also cash dividends to the tune of Rs 24 lakh. — HNS
