Sunrise’s e-banking
KATHMANDU: Sunrise Bank Ltd has started SMS and Internet banking services. The bank’s customers can get information on available balance as well as statement of last five transactions through SMS at 6070, states a press release. Internet banking service not only avails information about transactions but also provides cheque book and account statement on request. Fund transfer facility is also available upon request. — HNS
Murder condemned
KATHMANDU: Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) has strongly condemned the murder of Tirtha Raj Ojha, member of Mahottari Chamber of Commerce. Issuing a statement, NCC has asked the government to take stern action against those involved in such a brutal activities. Ojha, a hotelier from Bardibas, was abducted on February 27 by an unidentified gang and was found murdered on March 12. “Such an act would discourage the private sector,” states the press release. — HNS
