NIC Bank in Damak

KATHMANDU: Nepal Industrial & Commercial Bank (NIC Bank) Ltd has opened its 11th branch at Damak in Jhapa district. Though the branch started its commercial operations a month ago, Jagadish Prasad Agrawal, chairman of the bank formally inaugurated the new branch amid a function. The bank has another branch at Birtamod in the same district. — HNS

KATHMANDU: FNCCI president Chandi Raj Dhakal urged the parties to resolve political crisis soon to bring the peace process to a logical end. While speaking at an inaugural ceremony of 36th AGM of Mahottari Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jaleswar, on Saturday, he asked the major political parties to give priority to economic and development agendas. Kush Kumar Joshi, second vice-president of FNCCI stressed on optimum utilisation of local resources. Bijaya Kumar Shah, president of MCCI, asked the government to provide security to business entities. — HNS
