Himalayan Distillery Ltd (HDL) is set to launch Ultimate premium triple distilled grain Gin for the first time in the Nepali market. "Ultimate is made from the choicest cereals harvested at maturity and pure neutral alcohol is slowly polished through 13 distillation columns, states a press release issued here today.

The botanicals in the product include juniper berries from Italy, coriander seeds from Romania and Bulgaria, and lemon peels from Spain as well as other selected ingredients, which have been kept secret. The new alcoholic product has used only natural and pure grain which has been meticulously harvested at maturity. Ultimate is priced at Rs 410, Rs 205 and Rs 103 for 750ml, 375ml, and 180ml bottles respectively. HDL has spent three years in research and development of this new product, which earlier used to be imported from London.
