Health camp held

KATHMANDU: Kumari Bank Ltd organised a health camp in collaboration with Community Sewa Kendra, Sindhupalchowk, at Kunchowk in Bagmati zone on Saturday. People from Sikharpur, Jyamire, Pokhare

and Bada VDC availed of the service. Under the supervision of Dr Komal Thapa, six doctors and fifteen

compounders carried out health check-ups and distributed medicine to the people.

NBL’s new scheme

KATHMANDU: For International Women’s Day, Nepal Bank Ltd has brought a scheme for women — Mahila Bachat Khata and Mahila Bises Muddati Khata. They can open an account for a minimum of Rs 500 and get one per cent more interest rate than the bank’s regular interest rate, said the bank that will provide special facilities to women. The bank will provide them free debit cards and 25 per cent discount on locker service. To women traders, the bank will provide loans easily and also offer 0.5 per cent discount on service charge. They will be also get 0.25 per cent discount on loan against gold and silver.
