The CAN Federation has announced that the annual information technology exhibition, CAN Info-Tech is slated to begin from May 11 this year.

The CAN Info-tech, which used to be held around January or February in the previous years, has been delayed by three months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The information technology exhibition will be participated by CAN member organisations as well as various national and international information and communication technology companies.

Entrepreneurs will be able to use the exhibition as a platform to showcase new technologies as well as business expansion. Similarly, visitors will be able to observe and purchase new information and communication technologies and equipment under one roof, reads the statement issued by the CAN Federation on Sunday.

CAN Info-tech 2021 will have various sections, including branding, ICT accessories, game parlours, product launches, robotics, emerging technologies, e-waste management, wi-fi and internet and learning centres, and information and communication technology employment centres.

The exhibitors will display software, networking and cloud solutions, mobile phones and solutions, electrical and electronics, security solutions.

Moreover, solar power systems, inverters, UPS, laptops and desktop computers, printers, power systems, computer accessories, anti-virus and anti-virus services will also be showcased. Products such as Disk will be on display and for sale.

Similarly, information related to Artificial Intelligence, IT colleges, banks, insurance and accounting software, existing and upcoming software and solutions in government sector, self-learning software and tutorials will also be on display.

The federation expects around 300,000 people to visit the exhibition.

Also, this time the ticket for the Info-Tech has been made paperless. Online booking for stalls will be open from March 22.
