Civil’s CSR initiative
KATHMANDU: Civil Bank has handed over Rs 300,000 to repair the roof of Nepal National Primary School of Khatuwaparseni in Parsa district, as per a media release.
Civil Bank’s Chief Executive Govinda Gurung and comedian Sandip Chhetri had recently participated in ‘Ko banchha crorepati’, the Nepali version of ‘Who wants to be a millionaire’ and had won Rs 160,000 (including tax).
Adding to the sum won, it had been announced that Rs 300,000 would be handed over for repairing the infrastructure of a school damaged by the massive storm and hurricane last year.
The amount was handed over by Chief of Microbanking in Civil Bank Yubaraj Guragain to Principal of the school Rameshwor Prasad Yadav.
