LAHAN: Sugarcane farmers of Siraha district once again blocked Mahendra highway in the section of Choharwa from 7 am this morning. As a result, hundreds of vehicles were stranded along the highway. A sugarcane farmer, Kashindra Yadav said the highway was blocked demanding sugarcane mill owners send trucks for collecting sugarcane on time. Vehicles had started plying this morning only after three consecutive days of bandh called by the MPRF. But the road block by farmers once again halted all movement to the west from Lahan.
