Free wi-fi, SIM cards for int’l delegates

Internet service provider, WorldLink, is providing free wi-fi services in various stadiums during South Asian Games 2019.
Keeping in mind the convenience of spectators WorldLink has arranged free wi-fi at Dasharath Stadium and stadiums in Janakpur and Pokhara where different games will be organised2
According to the company, it is providing unlimited internet services at the aforementioned stadiums during the SAG between December 1 and 10.
Dasharath Stadium can accommodate 40,000 spectators while the stadiums in Pokhara and Janakpur can accommodate 30,000 spectators each.
As per the company, it has installed around 80 wi-fi hotspots each in these stadiums. Each hotspot will have 3 Mbps capacity which can connect up to 300 people at a time. Although there is no limit on the time, one can use up to one GB data for a day.
Likewise, as the sponsor partner of the SAG 2019, Nepal Telecom (NT) is providing free 4G SIM cards to all players, guests, organisers and representative officials coming from foreign countries along with other associates who are participating in the game from across the country.
As per NT, a total of 4,500 SIM cards have been provided free of cost in Kathmandu, Janakpur and Pokhara. International players and officials were provided the SIM cards at the Tribhuvan International Airport upon their arrival and others will receive the SIM cards at their respective stadiums through the organising committee at the event.
NT has also added mobile towers to enhance the network quality at all stadiums where the games will be organised.
Furthermore, for emergency services, the company has also provided hotline service to players, coaches, representative officials and organising committee members.
