Fine gold up by Rs 1,200 per tola; silver jumps Rs 70

KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 9

The price of gold continued its upward trend on Thursday, increasing by Rs 1,200 per tola in the domestic market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 239,200 per tola, up from Rs 238,000 per tola on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, silver prices also saw a notable rise of Rs 70 per tola after remaining stable in the Rs 2,950 range for several days. It is now being traded at Rs 3,025 per tola, compared to Rs 2,955 per tola the previous day.
