KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 2

Gold maintained its upward trajectory on Friday, continuing its steady climb with an increase of Rs 300 per tola in the domestic market. This surge follows yesterday's rise of Rs 500 per tola, indicating a sustained momentum in the precious metal's value.

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FeNeGoSiDA), the current trading rate for gold stands at Rs 119,500 per tola, reflecting an uptick from Thursday's rate of Rs 119,200 per tola.

Similarly, Tejabi gold is being exchanged at Rs 118,950 per tola today, compared to Rs 118,650 per tola on Thursday.

In addition to gold, silver also experienced an increase today, gaining Rs 5 per tola. Presently, silver is being traded at Rs 1,415 per tola, up from Rs 1,410 per tola on Thursday.

Throughout this week, the bullion market has demonstrated consistent growth, with trading prices recorded at Rs 118,000 per tola on Sunday, Rs 118,300 per tola on Monday, Rs 118,600 per tola on Tuesday, and Rs 118,7000 per tola on Wednesday. Meanwhile, silver prices have displayed fluctuations over the same period.
