The price of gold has continued its downward trend in the domestic market, falling by Rs 700 per tola on Monday. This marks the third consecutive day of decline after gold reached an all-time high of Rs 180,300 per tola last Thursday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold is currently being traded at Rs 173,800 per tola, down from Rs 174,500 per tola on Sunday. The precious metal had earlier dropped by Rs 3,900 per tola on Friday and Rs 1,900 per tola on Sunday.
While gold prices dipped, silver recorded a modest gain, rising by Rs 30 per tola. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,830 per tola on Monday, up from Rs 1,800 per tola the previous day.
