Gold price continued its upward momentum in the domestic market on Wednesday, increasing by Rs 900 per tola. This follows a Rs 1,400 per tola surge on Tuesday, marking a reversal of the recent declining trend in gold price.

After reaching an all-time high of Rs 171,300 per tola on Falgun 13, gold price had gradually declined and stabilized at Rs 168,100 per tola over the past three days, starting Friday. However, this trend shifted on Tuesday, and the price continued to climb for the second consecutive day on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold is currently trading at Rs 170,400 per tola, up from Rs 169,500 per tola on Tuesday.

Similarly, silver price also followed the upward trend, increasing by Rs 10 per tola. Silver is now being traded at Rs 1,950 per tola, up from Rs 1,940 per tola on Tuesday.
