KATHMANDU, APRIL 23

Gold price in Nepal plummeted by Rs 2,700 per tola on Tuesday, marking the second consecutive drop this week after hitting a record high on Sunday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is currently being traded at Rs 135,500 per tola, sharply down from Monday's rate of Rs 138,200 per tola. This significant decline follows a Rs 1,100 per tola drop on Monday alone.

Similarly, Tejabi gold is now trading at Rs 134,850 per tola, compared to Rs 137,550 per tola previously.

In parallel, the silver market also saw a downturn, with prices declining by Rs 45 per tola to trade at Rs 1,660 per tola in the Nepali market, down from Rs 1,705 per tola on Monday.
