KATHMANDU, APRIL 22

The price of gold took a significant dip on Monday, plummeting by Rs 1,100 per tola from its record high price in the domestic market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is currently being traded at Rs 138,200 per tola, marking a notable decrease from Sunday's rate of Rs 139,300 per tola, which stood as the highest price recorded for the yellow metal in the domestic market thus far.

Similarly, Tejabi gold is now being traded at Rs 137,550 per tola, down from Rs 138,650 per tola recorded on Sunday.

Furthermore, the silver market, which saw prices at Rs 1,740 per tola on Sunday, experienced a decline of Rs 35 per tola, settling at Rs 1,705 per tola on Monday.
