KATHMANDU, MAY 14

The price of gold increased by Rs 500 per tola in the domestic market on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 185,300 per tola, up from Rs 184,800 per tola on Tuesday.

The rise comes a day after gold prices had dropped sharply by Rs 2,000 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver prices fell by Rs 10 per tola. Silver, which was traded at Rs 1,970 per tola on Tuesday, dropped to Rs 1,960 per tola today.
