After days of decline, the price of gold in the domestic market saw a slight increase on Wednesday. The price rose by Rs 200 per tola today.
Gold had been experiencing a downward trend after reaching a record high of Rs 176,000 per tola in the domestic market.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 173,500 per tola, up from Rs 173,300 per tola on Tuesday.
Similarly, silver prices have also increased by Rs 10 per tola. After remaining stagnant at Rs 1,980 per tola for the past three days, silver is now being traded at Rs 1,990 per tola today.
