The price of gold surged by Rs 1,300 per tola in the domestic market on Friday, marking a new record.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 153,300 per tola, up from Rs 152,000 on Thursday. The price of fine gold had remained stable at Rs 152,000 before today's increase.

Similarly, the price of silver has risen by Rs 30 per tola, climbing from Rs 1,765 on Thursday to Rs 1,795 per tola today.
