The price of fine gold rose by Rs 7,200 per tola in the domestic market on Friday, extending a sharp two-day rally that has added a total of Rs 13,400 per tola to the precious metal's value, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.
Fine gold is now being traded at Rs 290,700 per tola, up from Rs 283,500 per tola on Thursday.
Silver also recorded a gain on Friday, rising by Rs 165 per tola to trade at Rs 4,615 per tola, up from Rs 4,450 per tola the previous day.
