In a continued upward trend, the price of gold in the domestic market increased by Rs 900 per tola on Wednesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the rate for fine gold has reached Rs 163,000 per tola, up from Rs 162,100 per tola the previous day.
This increase follows a rise of Rs 1,100 per tola on Tuesday and Rs 1,000 per tola on Monday, indicating a sustained demand for the precious metal.
In contrast, the price of silver experienced a slight decrease, falling by Rs 5 per tola. Silver is currently trading at Rs 1,950 per tola, down from Rs 1,955 per tola on Tuesday.
