The gold price, which had held steady at a record high of Rs 126,000 per tola over the past three days, saw a drop of Rs 1000 per tola on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is currently being traded at Rs 125,000 per tola in the market. It had maintained its stability at Rs 126,000 per tola on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

Similarly, tejabi gold is now being traded at Rs 124,400 per tola, down from Rs 125,400 per tola on Tuesday.

Following suit, the silver price, which had witnessed a Rs 10 increase per tola on Tuesday, experienced a Rs 20 decrease per tola on Wednesday, now being traded at Rs 1,465 per tola.
