KATHMANDU, JULY 12

The price of gold in the domestic market has reached an unprecedented peak, soaring by Rs 1,800 per tola on Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is currently being traded at a record high of Rs 146,700 per tola today, marking a significant increase from Rs 144,900 per tola reported on Thursday.

In contrast, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 146,000 per tola, up from Rs 144,200 per tola yesterday.

Similarly, silver prices have also risen, reaching Rs 1,900 per tola today, up by Rs 15 per tola from Rs 1,885 per tola previously.
