KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 24
After days of continuous increases, the price of gold has finally declined in the domestic market on Thursday.
As of today, fine gold is being traded at Rs 166,000 per tola, down from Rs 166,700 per tola yesterday, marking a drop of Rs 700, as per the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.
Silver has also followed a similar trend, with its price falling to Rs 2,095 per tola from yesterday's Rs 2,135 per tola, a decrease of Rs 40.
This marks a pause in the upward momentum that had characterized the prices of both gold and silver in recent days, with the precious metals previously reaching record highs in the local market.
