Himalayan Bank Ltd is all set to launch an online remittance product called ‘HimalRemit’ very soon. According to a press release issued here today, HimalRemit is a premium online customer-focused and technology-oriented money transfer product developed by HBL itself. The web-based money transfer system is accessible through the bank’s main domain — www.himalayanbank.com.

HBL has been involved in the field of retail money transfer business for the last 11 years and has one of the largest networks, covering all major cities, towns and villages in the country.

The Remittance Service Department at the bank is solely responsible for monitoring delivery of a fast and reliable remittance service from the central office. At the next stage, the remittance service can be directly accessed by all HBL branches, states the release. Remittance payments can be made against identification. The remitted amount can be deposited or transferred to HBL bank accounts or any other bank in Nepal.
