Infomerics Credit Rating Nepal Ltd (ICRNL) recently held educational workshops on credit rating awareness at two prominent colleges here. The workshops, which were aimed at students in the business management and finance faculties, were held at the Shankar Dev Campus and Nepal Commerce Campus.
The Securities Exchange Board of Nepal (SEBON) initiated the organisation of these programmes as part of the commemoration of World Investor Week (WIW), as per a media release.
These workshops were designed to give students useful knowledge about the credit rating industry and their important place in the financial markets. For students interested in jobs in finance and management, understanding credit rating's complexities is crucial because it plays a significant role in financial decision-making.

The teams provided thorough presentations and engaged with students to ensure that credit rating principles were fully understood.
The CEO of ICRNL, Rabin Pudsaini, as well as the company Secretary, Pratik Lamichhane, gave the opening comments for the sessions. They emphasised the significance of credit rating awareness in the current financial environment and highlighted SEBON and ICRNL's contributions to the promotion of financial literacy and education.
