KATHMANDU: The international non-governmental organisation (INGO) community has expressed hope that with the endorsement of the Bill on Reconstruction of Earthquake Affected Structures, plans for recovery and reconstruction can now move ahead and donors will have confidence to provide the pledged funds. The statement issued on Thursday by the Association of International NGOs in Nepal (AIN) has asserted the INGO community’s commitment in supporting and coordinating with the National Authority for Reconstruction in its reconstruction and recovery efforts, along with expectation of meaningful dialogue with the Nepal government for strategic collaboration.
