KATHMANDU: Kumari Bank Ltd (KBL) has signed an agreement to provide Rs 2.5 million to Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH) as part of its corporate social responsibility.
As per a press statement, the bank is providing the financial support to KIOCH - which aims to provide affordable, accessible and universally available multi-specialty healthcare services for the quality of life of children in Nepal - for the ongoing construction of the children's hospital in Budhanilkantha Municipality, Ward 7.
KBL Chief Executive Officer Ramesh Raj Aryal and KIOCH Founder President Prof Dr Bhagwan Koirala signed the agreement in the presence of other officials of the two institutions.
