NFTA holds meet

KATHMANDU: Officials of Nepal Foreign Trade Association (NFTA) held a meeting with Ambassador of South Africa to Nepal Robina P Marks on Wednesday.

Discussions on the economy and business were held during the meeting. The two sides also held talks on the opportunities of bilateral investment between the two countries.

On the occasion, Ambassador Marks pointed out that trade between the two countries was very negligible. Marks also mentioned about the potential that Nepal had to attract investment in the hydropower and mines and minerals sectors. Ramesh Gupta, president of NFTA, stated that trade between the two nations could be increased through cooperation.
