KATHMANDU, JANUARY 4
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index, the country's lone secondary market, rose 63.01 points to 2679.95 points, indicating a 2.41 per cent increase, on Tuesday.
Similarly, the sensitive index increased by 15.85 points, or 3.25 percent, to 503.72 points.
The float index increased by 5.14 points, or 2.86 percent, to 184.74 points.
In comparison to Monday's trading, the market saw a modest reduction in daily turnover today, with a total of 9,110,758 units from 234 businesses dealing for Rs 4.320 billion.
Except for the Manufacturing and Processing, and Others index indices, all sub-indices stood on the green zone today.
With a 5.23 point gain, the Development index led the pack of gainers.
At the end of the day, the total market capitalisation stood at Rs 3.785 trillion.
