KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 31
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the sole secondary market of the country increased by 55.50 points to reach 2837.62 points, a 1.99 per cent increase, on Sunday.
The daily turnover also increased on the first trading day of the week with a total of 13,899,322 units of shares of altogether 232 companies were traded at Rs 7.823 billion.
Similarly, the sensitive index rose 1.82 per cent to 530.46 points. Similarly, the float index closed at 197.66 points, up 1.84 per cent.
Meanwhile, all of the sub-indices were green today, with the exception of the Banking sub-index, which fell 2.96 points or 0.16 percent to 1890.35 points.
The nonlife insurance index led the pack of gainers with a 603.03 point increase.
After the share transaction, market capitalisation stood at Rs 3.975 trillion.
Today, 162 scrips advanced while 23 scrips declined and two remained unchanged.
