KATHMANDU: The 35th annual general meeting of National Life Insurance Co Ltd (NLICL) was successfully held under the chairmanship of Prema Singh, the chairperson of the company.
The AGM has endorsed the proposal to issue bonus shares of eight per cent of the updated paid-up capital and to provide a cash dividend of Rs 19.54 million for tax purposes, as per a press release.
In addition to the said dividend, a proposal to provide an additional cash dividend at the rate of 6.5 per cent on the paid-up capital has been passed.
